Alcalá la Real

The design of the stand is inspired by the idea of the “Hidden City”, a representation of the rich history and mystery surrounding the Fortaleza de la Mota in Alcalá la Real.

This fortress, once a walled city full of life with streets, dwe-llings and defensive spaces, symbolizes centuries of history and evolution. With its passageways, crypts and recent architectural findings, it becomes an emblem of the layers of time and memory that are revealed as you walk through it. This walled corridor includes secret recesses and hidden spaces, awakening the curiosity of visitors and inviting them to explore and discover every detail, just as they would when exploring the corners of the fortress. The wall not only represents the historical and architectural character of the Fortaleza de la Mota, but also functions as a tool to connect emotionally with visitors. The stand seeks to position Alcalá la Real as a unique tourist destination, highlighting its historical and cultural value.

To this end, the design is inspiredby the curved and dynamic silhouette of the fortress, which is embodied in an enveloping space that recreates a wall. The hidden spaces and sinuous shapes of the design encourage interaction and a sense of discovery, making visitors feel immersed in the historical narrative of Alcalá la Real.
